Nespresso Vertuo Descaling

This has caused me pain over the years, so here's some working instructions so I can find them next time!

1. device off, no used capsule in the carrier, 700-900ml of fluid in tank. About 50/50 water & white (cleaning) vinegar
2. hold lever + button for 3 seconds
3. button is now solid orange
4. press front lever once to put into descale mode; then click the top button once to start
5. wait for the whole process, do not interrupt
6. once the machine stops running, it will be in maintenance mode with the orange blinking light again
7. before the machine goes to sleep (which breaks this reset process and requires you to start again...) you need to hold the lever + button again until the light flashes green
8. if you did it right, your machine is clean and reset back to solid green
